I was just simply wondering, Is it possible for anyone else to take my PI resources after I launch them into orbit? Or are they "specially" for me.
Because if so, its a very good place to store the goods for a couple of days.

as far as I know only you have the location (I suppose it might be found by accident but this sounds highly unlikely) but it should disappear after 2 hours (same as any other unanchored container)

What about PI products launched into custom office?

Customs offices are pretty much safe (unless destroyed)

Launches from a spaceport will last for up to a week before they vanish.

(Although this might be only valid as long as you don't warp to the bookmark. AFAIK the server doesn't actually spawn the container until you do, and I've never tested how they behave once they're spawned.)

When lauching PI into space with Command Center, there is only a journal entry that has a bookmark to that location. This bookmark doesen't allow fleet warps, it's only for you(the charachter that lauched stuff into space).
This bm lasts about 5days.

At the moment of you initiating warp to that bm, the PI container is spawned into space and can be d-scanned, but can't be combat probed. 3rd party can still find it and get the loot, if they use enough time to manually fly to that location, or if they have old bm's that are close by.
If PI journal entry bm is warped the container still persists over DT up untill the PI container timer has expired.

So, in essence this launching from CC is safe way to store low ammounts of PI for short period of time, if you haven't warped to it yet. After that safety is up to the 3rd party persistance.

edit:

Also it should be noted that the journal entry bm, can't be shared through normally bookmarking it. So no right-click and regularilly bm that spot to to share the location to others.

There have been numerous tweaks and changes over the years, so this may no longer be true. But I have, on one occasion had a customs office with PI goods in it destroyed, and once replaced the goods stored there reappeared.

Your launches can be stolen. I have done it. It just takes some d-scan skills, an interceptor, and about 20 minutes of MWding to get on grid with the container so they can bookmark it and come back with a hauler.
