Remotely access personal assets

I'd like to be able to remotely access personal assets - stack, unstack items, repair them, see what's into cans and move stuff arround. Maybe also assemble cans and label them? Assemble and fit ships?

I'm not sure why we can't do this already (and I have given it a thought).

At the moment one is able to stack unstack stuff for the purpose of creating a contract, but the process is a bit vague.

It'd be neat if you could click the Personal Assets icon and a window appears like the one you'd see when opening your hangar. Why do "personal assets" and the hanger have to be different in the first place?

+1. This function would be a huge asset.

Would be ok with a minor ISK cost as well. Gotta pay those little station monkeys for working when you aren't there.

+1.

Some examples of remote assets management being a pain.

1. You want to do production/invention at a distance. Most of the time, the game will let you install the job but the window will now reset to default, so you'll have to scroll back down to the right BPO/BPC (good luck if you have hundreds of them!)

2. You want to interact with things that are in a different station, and in a container. Simply put: you can't. Just because.

3. You regularly put up batches, of, say, 1,000 EMP S for sale. On contracts, because you can only put up remote selling orders if you're in the same region. You manufacture a batch of 100,000. Next contract, you can select the stack of 100,000, do "split stack", remove 99,000 and contract the remaining 1,000. You must now wait for the "your assets" thingie to refresh before putting up another contract (because the game will show you the original 100k and you'll get an error message if you try to interact with that stack).
Current solution: fly to that station, manually make stacks of 1,000 which you can now put up on contracts remotely.
