Need opinions. What's a good fit for a Stratios, doing null cb sites?

I just started playing not too long ago and I'm still a bit of a noob, so I'm trying to get opinions on the best fit for a stratios. I have a decent fit for exploration, but I'm trying to get into doing combat sites. Any help/fit suggestions is appreciated.

if you aint been to null before or dont understand the mechanics dont go in a stratios, also depends what combat sites you want to do, depending on the space i dunno if a stratios will be viable, maybe for anoms but ded's not sure

Good luck running anything beyond a 5/10 in reasonable time in a stratios.

I make almost all my money in null with a stratios running relic sites, ive made several billion so far and spend enough time in null to understand it for the most part. I think if I could refine the question a bit what im asking for is Ideas on how to make a great Null exploration fit for the stratios and less for combat sites (unless I find myself in low sec) My fit works fairly well but there is always room for improvement. I use a Gila for some of the harder sites.

I'm also considering trying a null sec stratios exploration fit. I've mostly got skills set up for active ahield tanking pve. Before i get myself into training for it, i want to know some of the basics about exploration specific to null sec.

Do you scan down sites while cloaked?

Do i need anything more than a probe launcher and an analyzer for non-combat sites?

I will probably bring a mobile depot so i can swap my tanking stuff for analyzer when I'm actually at the site. Is this a good Idea, or should i just always have the analyzer and give up like 150 dps of the tank by swapping out a invuln field.

Here is the fit i threw together.

Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Internal Force Field Array I

10MN Afterburner II
Gist X-Type Large Shield Booster
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Dread Guristas Shield Boost Amplifier
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II, Scan Resolution Script

Focused Modal Pulse Laser I, Multifrequency M
Focused Modal Pulse Laser I, Multifrequency M
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Sisters Core Probe Launcher, Sisters Core Scanner Probe
[empty high slot]

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I

+drones

looks very shiney Pirate

yes you scan down sites cloaked and you take a scout with you, maybe drop the guns for neuts. just beware this will probably die in nullsec eventually to a gatecamping cloaky sabre

This is true for all the ships. Sadly, it does not come in Estemel flavor, for maximum fit versatility pimpage. :(

Yeah that is a bug by my fitting tool i had previously had a sensor booster in the slot but i removed it. Apparently the script did not want to go.

The important question here is why would you want to run combat sites in a stratios?

The DPS on a Stratios is kinda low with only 4 sentries and no tracking/range bonus. Ishtar was the king but since they nerfed it I think maybe a Tengu or Proteus? Can't fly the Tengu but people talk about it like it's the end goal for PvE.

A thought on that fit, " an empty high slot on a drone boat is a fail fit, before anything else is even considered."

plz excuse but quoting is not a skill I have trained to any level.

Better? I also took into account the other suggestion from the pirate ;-)

It lacks in the tracking speed department but on paper it breaks 500 dps which isn't too terrible for a multi purpose build.

ignoring the racial armor bonus will make other ships way better for the task.

especially because you will be exposed running the site anyway.

not to mention you lose the benefit of a small sig.

also if you use wormholes to move out to and from null it lowers the chance of finding yourself in an intel channel and being mercilessly hunted.
