Reactivating Old Trial Acct

Quick question.

Do we get to rename the characters whose names were turned into 'racial citizen number whatever' when reactivating old trial accts?

Unless it changed recently, yes. The flag to have the name reset should be the same one you get if your name was reset due to being inappropriate or whatever.

Ah! Why did you actually have to ask?

It doesn't make sense to not letting people have their forcefully changed names changed again.
I don't think there should be punishment for "deliberate name farming for selling later".

Well, asking here is cheaper than dropping a PLEX on the acct to find out. And CCP does have a habit of not thinking things through before implementing them so I just didn't know if they did the common sense thing of allowing a new name or not.

Like the new skin thing and how it will affect character trading, for instance. Good start, poor finish as we say when tasting a Sauvignon blanc from a winery that doesn't quite see the big picture.

And ... you might have a point there with CCP and common sense ... sometimes. xD

What I don't understand is the fuss people making about the skins and character transfer.

So they are there.
It adds to the value of the character, no?

I'll have you know that I've started over thirty threads since I first entered New Eden in 09/09/09. So I'm not as shy as some might think.

Have a look here for more interesting Mr Epeen posting data. Or just switch in your name in the URL and see how we compare. Or check out other prolific posters like this certain someone who's ranked 57. More than 100 ranks ahead of me and only slightly more threads started.
