Why don't the drones attack the rats automatic in asteroid belt?

attack and follow

Aggressive means that if attacked, they will auto-respond in kind.

I have found it can depend on which drones you have as well.
Yes I have my drone settings set to the first reply comment and they used to attack on their own.
Now I find I have to select a target first and give them a little push.
This only appears to be occurring in Roid belts as they work fine in Anomaly. The hornet II is the most problematic for me the Hobs II work but do glitch out some times.
This is since the last update.

Drone control range is also a factor, if the rats appear and engage (red box) outside your control range the drones will not engage until you tell them to.
