What happens to moon harvesters in 0.0 when Sov is lost?

If an alliance loses sov in a system, do the POSs stay online? Do the moon harvesters still, well, harvest?

Thanks in advance for the info!

Everything will continue as normal, with one exception; if the POS is owned by the old sov holder, the fuel cost will increase as the bonus from having sovereignty (0.75 Fuel Cost) in that system will be lost.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info. Trying to figure out what part of the market may be affected by the Sov changes.

Since moon mining won't stop, there goes that idea, haha

Not as dramatic as stopping, but increasing fuel cost by a third will turn a number of mining and reaction POS chains unprofitable unless/until sov can be reestablished. The high value moongoo pulling will go on regardless, but some of the less lucrative stuff may stop for a while. There may be a mild surge in fuel block and T2 component prices.

If you are doing the sort of reaction that is so marginal that a 33% increase in fuel usage would make it unprofitable, you're doing the wrong reaction to begin with.

Most of that sort of stuff is done simply to offset fuel costs for a POS that is doing something more important.
