Drones are my staff, just like the rest of my support crew. They do right by me, I do right by them.

Though the fact that not a single one of them has petitioned for a pay raise and more break days unnerves me whenever I think about it.


It'll unnerve you more when the drones do and the humans don't...just imagine a picket line manned, or rather droned by Fed Navy Hammers when they go on strike for better maintenance insurance...

Define soul. Do we still have them as capsuleers? Do you consider a soul to be intrinsic to a human body? What then are our clones? And what is our 'soul' as it is digitized and transferred through countless relays and systems to our new body?

Indeed, how is our digitized personality any different to that contained within a sentient drone's cogitators? If a sentient drone could transfer it's consciousness to a human clone would it then become human? Have a bona fide soul all of it's own?

If I see a picket line of Hammer II demanding better maintenance insurance, then all is right in the cluster (and I will have to revisit our maintenance insurance policies).

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.
