Can someone please link me the direct link to the new patch? My launcher is unable to "create the patch", let alone start downloading it.

If you have using a Launcher pinned to a Windows task bar - remove the pin and use the Launcher in the install path directly

I don't need to redownload the whole client all over again; i just need a direct link for the new patch. It is located in the below directory. does anyone have the full link please?

If you read the dev blog, using a work around for this particular patch may break your install. Since the launcher needs to do some updates and work.
So.... you may be looking at an utterly fresh install needed if you have somehow broken the install/launcher by continually bypassing it other ways.

I had my laptop power down half way through the install process, and it still completed perfectly, so it's not a fault on CCP's end.

My launcher successfully did all the prerequisite work specific to this patch; it created the shared work space and imported some video and audio files and right when it reached the "creating patch" phase that's when it stopped responding. I need the link to the direct patch to finish the setup please.

Same issue here. Killed the unresponding launcher, tried to restart it, no effect. Rebooted, restarted the launcher et voila, worked like a charm, downloaded 207MB and installed the patch nicely.

Remove standings and insurance.
