Fighter will be the drone useless ?

They remove fighter ability without nothing to return no aSsist no guard no defend ....give that drone less popular again and again

Yea... so there's no feature or idea suggestion, just a complaint. While I have as many or more complaints as the next guy, you need to come up with ideas that try to fix what you don't like about the game.

Well - he is discussing idea to remove that function and claims it is a bad idea... I agree.
You might see it as a complaint, I see it as a point of view in discussion.

To correct you here, you can now Assist your Fighters instead of assigning them, and you can also set them to guard somethin. But this only works with targets on grid, they won´t follow into warp with an assisted ship

He wishes to disscuss asagined fighters nerf and bassically said

This function is also removed. Only the carrier or supercarrier itself can set fighters on a target. Doesn't matter if on-grid, there is no assist option.

There is no idea in this post.
However, even though fighters won't have the ability to assist, they are still quite powerful.

That may be true... since they can tank a little more than havies, but still. Do you really think that its OK to nerf significant feature lots of players long worked to achieve and use and just take it away...

I have one of Dev's posting that Capital rebalance will come later this year. I say capitals if you wish - but do it all at once rather than take something away as a quick fix that hits greal player base including me....

How so? The long lock times from the capital hull itself + the recent scan res nerfs means that locking a subcapital will take over a minute. This makes them useless for PVE and for on-grid PVP in the great majority of situations. Even locking other capitals takes over 30 seconds. Why would I not just use sentries or heavy drones?

With some painters in the support fleet you could easily make the locking speed better... But then you'd need to actually plan your fleet setup for mutual support instead of just bringing a stack of tengus/ishtars...

This was already happening. When fighters go to feature was attacking things from the dark sides of moons no where near the fight its not the best leg to stand on. Even so called grid fu if implemented properly requires a ship to be you know...somewhere in the area. Maybe not your grid but some distance to it. Some distance measured in km's not light years lol.


Lemons into lemonades here....if fighters are lacking they can now be fixed. Under old scheme with fighters launched from God knows where....a request to buff them would not go over well.
