Svipul got on first place in top only a week after release. It continues to stay there and that tells a lot about its efficiency.

I'm sure there will be nerfs in favor of buffing something to combat strong Matar hulls but the real question is, are we in a good place when a ship can be introduced, mass produced and fielded in such a short time? The Svipul hasn't even reached full potential yet. I doubt anyone has the T3 dessie skill to 5 yet and it is seeing wide area use.

Based on the lower traits of the Caldari and Gallente T3 destroyers showed at fanfest I believe we will be seeing a nerf to the confessor and svipul sometime in the near future.

Only time will tell though.

yes. in fact, I think that if we can get to this situation so fast, then it's an indicator that we're at the peek of the entire playerbase's capabilities, and if not then we're getting there.

I had the skill at level 5 within less than 2 weeks after the ship was put into the game.
I had the ship itself roughly 1 or 2 days after its addition into the game.

Its a destroyer, so it makes sense its not overly complicated or over priced to produce tbh.
If it was bigger, it would have been different, but its the second smallest combat ship class, of the entire game.

Its gonna be interesting to see if they will nerf svipul/confessor, when we get the rest of them.

I understand what you are saying but if I understood these T3 Hulls, they had to be BPC farmed, mostly in Null sec. So the dangerous PvP frontier is now a pasture.

Excellent statistics. That 1 month datapool is without doubt reason for CCP to make a move fast. They did it with the Drake, the Hurricane, the Ishtar .... wait....

So how for CCP to nerf all frigate sized ships you reckon? Your data is pretty conclusive after all....

I killed a Svipul the other day.


So I guess they're not immortal, after all.



That being said, I have lost WAY more fights with Svipul's than I have won. Its what happens when I 1v1 a T3 dessie with a T1 dessie....
