This is the much shorter follow-up second-half of my first thread here

This one is a much more simple (and vague) idea to throw around and to see what feedback is like.

Following on from the theme of creating a T2 role for hulls without a existing T2 variant (the Rokh, Hyperion, Abaddon and Maelstrom) The premise was to have some kind of mechanic where a vessel can "equip" a selection of the current (and future) deployable structures such as:
  • Micro-jump units
  • Scan/Cyno Inhibitors
  • maybe mobile warp disruptors

  • This would have mobility penalties of some kind to the host ship while the deployable is active, but would allow for the user to ignore some of the limitations that the deployable possesses (such as anchoing distance) and allows for the deployable to be reused in cases where it would normally not be re-scoopable after deployment (such as Scan inhibitors)

    Other would be able to interact with deployables as normal (such as depos or micro jump units)

    Let me know if this is worth talking about, or just not workable.
