I am very curious, being a DUST merc...why can we purchase dropsuits, weapons, vehicles, ect. here in the EVE universe? Does this mean that player trading is on the horizon, or that i can give my DUST merc any DUST gear i purchase here in EVE?

Devs? Care to shed some light on this subject, or link a thread where it has been explained?

I think the whole reason for the two markets being separate was to keep Eve players from "Twinking" their Dust accounts in the 1st place.

indeed we can...browse the market and search in infantry, everything there is DUST gear. DUST mercs earn about 200k ISk per battle, but lose 150-200 on suits. If we can transfer suits from EVE to DUST...i would just mine in EVE while playing DUST, transfer suits from EVE to my DUST merc and play proto 24/7 on dust

when dust was being released, there were big promises of a ton of connectivity, from warbarges that players could physically escort in eve, to a completely interconnected market, I believe this is prt of that tie-in that never went through. CCP probably realized that those with eve accounts would never have any isk struggles, not only compared to those without eve accounts, but would get bored with grinding since they didnt need the isk and sp is time based for the most part.

integration was planned, and as of last fanfest I think they were still planning on doing it with the whole one character to play Eve/Dust (legion)/Valkyrie with. not quite sure what the plan it these days.

Man, that'd cause a real headache with the 3 character limitation on eve, especially with character sales.

I would love to see Eve with three different experiences available for my three account slots.

never even thought to think about how that would work, as I'm one of those my main is my main and I can't even think of selling him, and would play any other game that I can play as him with. Also I imagine the number of character slots would probably be adjusted for additional games. But really no idea how CCP would manage if and when they pull it off.

You can't, you can browse the items but you can't actually buy them from the EVE side.

My bet you didn't even try to buy an item in the hopes of sending it to your DUST merc Smile
