They are essentially worhless now and they add noise to killboards.

If it had a person in it, it wasn't empty!

And if you don't like 'em littering your boards, you don't have to shoot them.

Save them for me. Ill shoot them. Never not get the pod.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

It is a record that someone met their end at the hands of someone else. Just because it may not have worth to you, does not mean someone else finds worth in the destruction of a pod.

I love all my pod kills equally.

Wait, people kill pods for value? Not for the "I'm so much better than you, I managed to kill you twice at once" factor?

And everyone wants more corpses. Even Sleepers.

No ISK value doesn't equal no tactical value. Getting podded out of a wormhole, for instance.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

Wave the digital teabag!

To keep a record of how successful gate camps are at bubbling up and keeping free scouts out.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

They kill pods for killboard stats. Ever see a maller on a gate around 10-11KM on a warp-in vector and no turrets? Scan one and you'll see what it's for.

A "Crystal egg" kill for the cost of losing a maller in a suicide gank would green up a killboard considerably.

Why do people want to complicate the simple things in life?

Something's on grid --> shoot it.

Oh look, it popped! --> get a killmail.

Corpses can fetch up to billions if proper match is found, yet this is not actually shown on the killboards either.

If you need Killboard stats, get an alt with industrial, fill with cargo and kill repeatedly, scooping the cargo back up each time.
