Have Region descriptions been removed?

What the title says, it seems as if the descriptions of regions have been removed. Unless they have been moved somewhere else? I checked through the patch notes and it didn't say anything about changing/removing.

Its the buff to imagination that CCP has been slacking on. Now, were encouraged to use ours more, which will lead to more imaginative thinking on behalf of capsuleers!


As a side effect, it will make some people who have an already overactive imagination (see AFK Cloaking threads) go into overdrive, turning them into some kind of Rainman / Texan auctioneer / Gary Busey hybrid. Local will never be the same.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Disappointing if removing them was intended. The added fluff was nice.

They contained snippets of lore, or quotes from lore characters, which related to the region.

Today I noticed region descriptions were gone. I always thought they were a great piece of back story to read. You can still find them on the wiki, so that gives me hope that they will be back.
