Would be cool if each alliance/corp would be allowed to purchase a personalized license skin with their own colours and adhering corps brand.

Yes, I think it was mentioned that some licences would be player-created - perhaps, just like the alliance logos?

It is not hard since each ship skin has a template. And yes I was thinking of a similar sort of approach with the alliance logos. It seems a little detail but I'm sure many pilots would appreciate flying personalized ships, not available to anyone else outside the alliance.


P.S. and since there are threads questioning why players avoid leaving NPC corporations it would also be a tempting incentive.

Honestly they should do what DOTA does and let players create skins for ships and sell them. That could be pretty cool.

Spaceships are serious business and a high variety of customizable content always scores marketing points.

Silly rhetoric aside, I really like the high-contrasting ones, say deep blue + on grey-ish. The same hull palette for 10 years have grown very old on me, leading me to ownership of Pirate faction vessels on the sole basis that I liked the c0l0urs more. Lol

The multiple graphics upgrades over the years have been a relief, but there's a limit on how innovative, creative and varied you can be while recycling the same models using the old colour palettes. P
