New ways to use an existing item usually require some other new item, be it a material or BPC drop, to prevent unfair advantage to players with stockpiles.

So then what role do the Circadian Seekers play in all this?

I'm wondering if they are either hacked by or entities that the 'Others' have managed to control. Their first real-world 'bodies' as it were.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

why.. cause ccp will see that the tv series will grow in fame and if it gets too powerful they wont be able to nerf it.

Would this explain why the SP loss from being pod killed was removed? Because it's going to happen a lot more to all of us?

They are, it will just take "EVE:Forever" before we get to see the first episode. It was announced at 2013 fanfest.

So, the drifters are Reapers.

When the player-made stargate is introduced, does this mean that the reapers will pour through?

Jovians are the new Protheans.

So, just a thought, could the other also be in Sansha Kuvakei? I mean, why else would the Sansha's do what they did?

A) Sansha Kuvakei back from the dead
B) Sansha's using wormholes
C) Sansha Incursions abducting lives and creating slaves(prototype drifter?)

I mean, the connections are all there. Thoughts anyone?

the OP really locked this theory up really well ( cause he's awesome but knows this already).

however im curious as to the connections of the trailers

lets all not forget about the eve trailer - EVE Online: The Prophecy from 2014

we have yet to get any content about that damn thing those idiots was making which exploded in their faces and killed everybody around that thing..

is that to come?

or was THAT the thing that created "carolines star"

Evidently in the Drifters' corporation Friendly Fire is not allowed and the size of their corp is "Tiny". I wonder if and how that size would increase.

Usually because it improves content longevity by a small margin. Fair was never a big part of EVE.

In Templar One, we learn about the "Other" and the "Others"- entities that, supposedly, spontaneously came into being within the Sleeper construct. They have no bodies, and are in opposition to not only the Sleepers but the Enheduanni and Jovians as well.

The first "Other" came into New Eden again through Jamyl Sarum's clone. In Templar One, we learn that it wanted to use the sleeper implants recovered and placed into DUST clones to create its army- however, that failed when Jamyl stopped it. Now, there's an army being built again, using Sleeper/Jove (after all, they're biologically identical) corpses and Capsuleer corpses alike.

The Others have no bodies- they would need some way to exist in the real world and pilot their deadly vessels; Tukoss warned us about them in his broadcast after they used him to get us to give up Jovian biomass. Now, they may have their bodies with which to make their stand.

Now for the big question; what are the "Other"s?

So far, we have no official confirmation of what they are, save for the fact that they "appeared" in the construct without bodies.

However, the Drifters lend important clues to this: their "Corporation", the "Vigilant Tyrannos", along with their names (Apollo and Artemis Tyrannos) give a huge and interesting possibility to their origin.

Long ago, a group called the "Tyrants", led by Miko Bour, the "First Tyrant" united the remnants of the first empire to form the Second Jovian Empire. They were ruthless in their mission, but they successfully prevented the collapse of the Jovians. However, at the end of the Second Empire, when the Jovian Disease came about and the Sleepers escaped to Anoikis, the Tyrants just up and disappeared. Not a trace left.

"Vigilant Tyrannos" can be taken to mean "Watchful Tyrants". At this point, I'm almost certain that the Drifters are the Others- and in addition, though it may be a little far-fetched, the Other in Jamyl may be Miko Bour- but whatever it is, it's certainly the leader of the Tyrannos.

Quote:
So, in short:

- The Drifters are the Others
- They need bodies and biomass to create bodies to use
- Sleepers, Jovians, and capsuleers alike are being taken to make bodies
- Tyrannos/Drifters are the Other's army, after his first attemp failed.

Quote:
Theoryrcrafting portion:

- The Tyrannos are the Tyrants
- The Others are the members, having hidden their minds in the Sleeper construct at the fall of the Second Empire
- The Other in Jamyl is the head of the Tyrants- tinfoil here, but it could be Miko Bour.

Anyhow, enjoy!
I know I am- this is amazing!

I think you overlooked an important detail. In the trailer it wasn't Jovian bodies being taken, it was Capsuleers.

Well yes they do take Capsuleer bodies at the end.

However, earlier in the video they're seen taking Jove/Sleeper bodies from a shattered sleeper construct, with that massive thing in the background - at around 1:00 to 1:09 P

I tried leaving a frozen corpse out for some Drifters. The y didn't take it. I need to try that with seekers.

Notably we have faction standings with them. At 0 of course, but faction nonetheless.

The drifters harvesting our corpses for use in there own twisted rebirth doesn't come as a suprise, after all we were harvesting them for years for use in clone soldiers by extracting there implants. We kind of deserve it.

What happend in jove space then? Gates are offline. Was it invasion? Experiment went wrong? Are they dead? It was the cause, what we see now is result.
