I would certainly make use of those contracts.

A courier contract that expires doesn't automatically fail, it's you who fails it.

Yup. And since I put a collateral of at least double the value on them, it actually works out in my favor to fail them. Just last night I had one expire. 1.1b worth of stuff that I put a collateral of 2b on. For that kind of profit I have no problem going out and buying the stuff again and making a new contract.

Mr Epeen Cool

I generally post collaterals of 110-120% of the goods value, plus my best estimate of the opportunity cost caused by a delayed delivery.

I actually don't like failing contracts under these situations as dilligent couriers will check my contract history (especially with me being in CODE.). I notice that after a failed contract, my future contracts take longer to be filled. (This includes situations where any further research would clarify that I had no part in the hauler's failure, like the time an idiot took one of my 10000m^3 Jita to Dodixie parcels through Tama, a route I don't like doing even in an interceptor)

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

+1, there are times you might want something delivered in 10 hours, or not delivered at all.
