I like Projectile weapon system of loki, Defensive system of tengu,

if we can use different race subsystem in one strategic cruiser.and more ship performs.it should be fun.

CCP will probably not do that, as each ship's parts are balanced for each ship.

I thought this thread was about letting the subsystem skills apply to destroyers too, and to future T3 ships.

I'm not in favour of allowing already overpowered ships to become even more so.

Not supported.

and the other t3 ships should suffer skill loss, or we take skill loss from all t3s cruisers to put inline with the t3 destroyers.

"Dual origin enhancements" :D

Doesn't really fit the supposed development of T3s but it could be interesting to see faction sub-systems that like the current factions are made up of a mix of 2 i.e. purely as an example a Guardian Angels/Serpentis electronics rig that could be fitted to loki or prot and gives 10-15% web range and 5% web effectiveness per level heh.

Seems reasonable, given that you lose SP if you make a poor choice, fitting the right setup would be valuable. This would allow us to have more custom set-ups available than the current offerings allow, without adding any new ships.

I am not opposed to this idea but I believe it needs some polish, and would you consider small penalties to the effectiveness on a non-native subsystem on the T3 you are using when doing this?

because they both have t3 in them so they need to be the sameRoll

as for the ops idea no this would be even harder to balance than the current t3s and ccp is already unable to balance them

That won't ever happen on the current strategic cruisers, but a new type of tech 3 vessel could do it.

I had the idea a while back of the flexible battleship: only one hull with very rounded out attributes, and room to fit subsystems to grant it skill bonuses. You could mix and match race subsystems since all they do is add skill bonuses. Its raw attributes are actually a bit worse than tech 1, so the majority of its power is both in having any skill bonus setup you want, and in being able to mix bonuses from more than one race. Having 5 skill bonuses still doesn't put its power above a tech 2 in any field because you can only have one subsystem of each type.

Tech III - Flexible Battleship

So basically my point is that you'd need to come up with a new kind of tech 3 that would reasonably support mixing subsystems in order for it to be balanced as well as feasible to implement. The Strategic ships don't really allow for that because there are just too many possible combinations to consider. It was hard enough giving them as many subsystems as they have within each race.
