After months of null ratting, i found myself to be painfully bored of orbiting, melting and salvaging rats that do me nothing at all to deserve such cruel destiny, so i've decided to go the way of resources and trade, i've a maxed trader that i've built for no reasons, but handy now, the only thing i lack is "the magic".
With a starting investment of 4b, how can i do my own magic?

With 4b, I would invest in T2 mods and low end T1 ships. I'm guessing you've got Margin Trading, so spread your ISK over a bunch of orders. There's no magic, just look for items that have a decent margin and volume. Just start doing it and you'll quickly learn what works for you and what doesn't. I'd also suggest heading to a non-Jita hub depending on the type of trading that interests you.

I assume you have a decent knowledge of what null ratters produce, what they consume, and the contacts or skills needed to get goods into and out of your old ratting space.

Look for ways to profit from that.

With only 4 billion isk, there are many ways to be very profitable trading. A key question though is do you plan to do this trading in Nullsec, Lowsec, or Highsec, or does it matter to you? Also, do you prefer active trading or a more passive approach? Or said another way, are you a go-getter or lazy? I think after those are answered and maybe some more information about what you enjoy, we can match you up with a suitable trading strategy.

Ty for the replies, i plan to trade inter hubs and to null, preferring trading out my way than sitting in a station to do 0.1 isks trick, escalate a limited market? Focus on a specific good to trade? I need lines, how to do that resides in my RL skills.
