In addition, because I have a monthly Sub, of what use is game time to me. CCP needs to get a clue sometimes. Instead of punishing players that commit real life money to support this great game, they need to automatically reward those that pay the $$$.

Did you read the post? It was pretty clear:


  • For active accounts on a subscription plan: The purchased time will pause your billing until it is depleted, but will not alter the subscription plan you are on. It will resume unchanged.



They give players free stuff quite often. They could have just offered this to Fanfest attendees only but instead are offering everyone a way to get it (a much cheaper way to get it than a plane ticket to Iceland).

I'm not sure there is any room for complaint.

Yep. When I bought the Collector's Edition when it came with three month's worth of game time, my next schedule subscription payment change from being one month away to being four months away. Engela DeGriz, game time like this is as much use to you as it is to everybody else.

not sure what you looking at, but you only get the skins if you pay with $$

Will the skins work with the upcoming changes to the way special skins work? So that if you lose a Tristan, you can still apply the skin to a new Tristan you buy?

It's not $135 for three skins. It's $135 for a years worth of game time (A substantial saving, by the way) with an incentive thrown in. Like all the cool stuff you get if you sub a new acct for a year. Or the sales on PLEX or any other number of promotions.

This is nothing new. It's just struck a chord because a lot of people wanted these skins for next to nothing. Me included.

But you can. Get them for next to nothing that is. There are a ton of them hitting the market at 1/4 the price they were yesterday. I'm plenty happy to grab some for keepsakes. I didn't even need to buy 5 HD streams like I have in the past for the loot. You gotta like that.

Checked my voucher tab hoping ccp would be nice and have given them out retroactivly , spolier alert, they didnt :/

i dont have another 300 $ or so to drop on eve atm, guess im SOL lol.

I just sadly shake my head when I see things like this.

I've got 6 accounts that I pay on yearly subscriptions, automatically renewed, for the past 6 years, but to get these "skins" I need to buy additional game time, because the amount I'm already paying isn't enough ? To get all 3 skins I'd need to renew at least one account for another year, on top of the year I've already paid for ?

Not to mention the fine print where it says:
"Promotional items for this offer are not permanent and may be destroyed during online gameplay".

Yeah. Uh huh. Think I'll pass. Besides, the pretty skins just look like red X's on my overview anyways.
