However, I would be pissed if I just gave CCP $130 and then saw this. I mean kinda seems like a big snub to people who love CCP so much that they have just locked in a year of funding to CCP before all the cool stuff gets announced at Fanfest.

I think it's pretty obvious that the way they set this up ends up quite unfairly rewarding their more loyal subscribers while really punishing others (just based on when they happened to buy their subs).



This is pretty much what I did. Re-subbed a week ago and now all the goodies come out.

Nice ... people who buyed before this offer are ******, and people who buyed in game this ships are ****** too because they payed the value of a limited ship skin.

Before for 3 month we have around 5-10M isk gift ... now that around 500M (actual price for tristan Quafe), really interesting .

Yeah, this is the biggest rub I think. I know if I just paid a full year's subscription, I'd be a little strapped to come up with an additional year immediately afterward.

As others have said - I re-subbed for 12 months a few weeks ago, and now this.

When I checked a few hour ago, there was 1 BPC pack on the market @ 5b. (read: contracts, cause they don't sell on the market)

The availability is obviously getting hurt by the way these skins are released, so when CCP say we can buy it from the market, it just shows how little effort they used thinking about this.

Sorry for your confusion. Like most people who trade regularly, I consider contracts as part of the market. So when I say BPCs on the market, I thought it would be obvious what I meant.

Also, like I said, the good deals are up for literally seconds. That 5b contract will sit there forever. You want the cheap stuff you better learn to exercise that refresh button.

Just as an update, it seems that as people are waking up and taking advantage of this FF deal, the Domis are now starting to come back down in price. I'd recommend not being too hasty to grab one right now as they're likely to start dropping in price substantially over the next few days.

I think the offer is fine, and if I were buying GMT for my accounts now I would be really excited, but like others I don't currently need game time, and like others posting here I am usually one of the people that buys the HD stream.

It would be really nice if there were more promotions that included these skins. For instance, it would be nice to have a new subscribed account promotion that included at least the frigate, or have one of the skins included with the new art book, etc.
