So i was thinking about this, and thought that an ingame Messagedoard could be usefull,


A message board you can put up messages on (im sure i need a phd for a statement like this)


okay so how it works is, its split up into the regions so you can only see messages posted in the current region, hell it might even just be a filter you can set to, system/Constelation/Region/Universe.

Well, here are the problems i can think of. SPAM!!! a major issue i can imagine, messageboard being spammed to death on the first day og implement (just dreaming)

well, i imagine there should be a limit to how many messages you can make, (obviously)
generally just spam countermessaures. it needs to cost isk to put up a message, it needs a messagelimit, im thinking 1 message per character, maybe even to the extend of 1 per corporation only.



it might even have categories to filter when looking for something specific,

the uses should be like of services offered, or a person looking for it

(in my case i am looking for a pos owner in a specific system that i can strike a deal with, and right now im actually flying to every moon in the system to find a pos and message the owner, a message board would be so helpfull right now for putting up a message that im looking for pos owners to striek a deal with)

im aware that its some sort of forum, but lets face it, far from everyone uses these eve forums.

well that was my 5 cents, please, Discuss it.

The main part of this Idea was to make it more locally. the forum is just .... universal,

and instead of making forum post about some little thing youre searching or want to offer, you post it on a message board.

its like a messageboard in the local supermarket, its VERY local.


and no, it wont be like a forum, because you cant reply to the message, you can only contact the player who posted it.


one may still argue its still just like a forum but ill leave it at that.
