I know being modern times alot of places take credit cards, but i know there are still places that don't...so how much cash should i expect to need for the 7 days i'll be in Iceland? (leaving in the morning, quick responses would be great)

You won't need any cash at all. Everywhere in Iceland takes and expects card, when you go to the bar to buy a beer they expect card, the laundromat for breakfast - card, nonnis for bacon - card. These are the only things you pay for in Iceland. Sometimes even the beer is free.

To echo Chiimera's comments I have not yet had the need to spend cash at all... but I have ended up with cash somehow. I think I nodded to some Icelandic question while buying something and they gave me a cashback.

In fact, I'm trying to get rid of the cash because it is really inconvenient to carry around what feels like kilograms of worthless 10 krona coins in a country where things costs thousands and hundreds of thousands of ISK.

Your cashback was most likely a refund on VAT :P

Okay so this year i brought cash (just in case) and used it on the odd taxi ride here and there. Do taxis take card? usually there is mastercard logos so i wasn't sure
