Jump freighter change

How about adding a ship maintainance bay to jump freighters ?

I.e. removing it from the carriers, since they are no longer viable as movers, and giving it to the jump freighters.

That way one can still move assembled ships with rigs, between operating areas.

I could see maybe eventually releasing a T2, jump-capable version of the Bowhead, but -1 to giving ship maintenance bays to all existing jump freighters.

if you want to move a bunch of ships in a short time be willing to sacrifice a bit

besides iirc they are going to nerf the jf range back down to 5ly as originally intended once the rest of the null changes are rolled out

I gave you a like, just so that I could take away the only like your character has ever received. Not only is this a terrible idea, but it is in the wrong section of the forums. Carriers are still viable ship transports for assembled ships, just like jumpfreighters can still move them while packaged.

but could we really still call them carriers? and the maintainance bay is crucial in larger fleet battles where you wouldn't want to bring a Jump Freigher. Remember the maintainance bay also allows fitting operations during a fight.
