newcomer here running into problems.....been playing for a week was working just fine then tonight i log on game launches the cinematic intro plays then where the character selection screen supposed to be screen is black....have the mouse pointer and the little notification box down in the right hand corner cant log onto my character!......can anyone help????????

If you are able to enter the ESC menu, try clearing the cache files.

If you can't do that due to the black screen, try starting Eve from the .exe file in the bin folder, before logging into the game hit the ESC menu and go into settings and clear the cache from there.
