Id be surprised if this has not come up yet, but in my opinion the shortcut system can be improved a lot, espacially for a drone boat.
If I miss information and my idea is actually accessible ingame, please let me know.

Here are some ideas of shortcuts which should be in the game:

1. one button to jump through next stargate if you have set up a route

2. allow drones and drone groups be dragged to the F-Keys like a module. Depending on the situation the button then serves as "launch drones"(if drones are in ship) or "engage" (if orbits)

There are probably a lot more possibilities to introduce meaningful shortcuts.

1. Autopilot is already a feature.
2a. A 'launch drones' hotkey may work for some ships, but for ships capable of holding more than one flight of more type of drone, this hotkey won't work.
2b. Group your drones, click on a group, drag group into space, drones launch.
2c. The default 'engage' command for drones in space is 'F'. This can be changed in hotkey settings.
3. Have you looked through the hundred or so things you can already set hotkeys to? I'm thinking not if your asking for more options.

Someone tell me if this already has a command we can map a key to, but until I get automatic scanning D-scan...

please create a hotkey for "Scan" in D-scan.

d-scan should never get a hot key
