Hello-

So I resubbed to this game last month after a ...long layoff. I know alts are almost a necessity so I created a 30 day trial. But in my haste I did not send a buddy thing for this alt- I didn't know about the buddy program.

Is it too late? Can I somehow sub with my characters credentials to reap the buddy reward?

I don't know the rules so if its not allowed to send a buddy thing to yourself(no reason for it not to be, a sub is a sub, right?)
we can say that my cousin has been playing for 2 weeks and we want to split the reward for me recommending this game to him.

Thanks for your time

I've never tried after the fact, but you might give it a try in the account management page, after logging-in the new account:
https://secure.eveonline.com/activation/
You can try petitioning if that fails.

It is completely acceptable to send yourself a buddy invite.

All 4 of my alt accounts were created this way.

No.

A trial not made using a buddy link can not be used with the buddy reward system.

So all you can do is make another account with the buddy system and let the current account lapse.

P.s. friends >>> alts.
