I blew myself up with my own bomb before but it didn't generate a killmail. Doesn't it do that when you are the only thing that is on your own (hypothetical) KM?

Anyways, no, you are not the only one and yes, it worked :D

I tried looking for faction webbers a while back for more range, couldn't see any ... you sure there's some with more range?

Anyway, point was, if it kills you at 9, it's gunna kill you at ten, ... so if it's in web range, it's going to kill you anyway. What you need is the reverse tractor beam :-)

Assuming it does kill you at 9 ... Lol

You're not alone, we have a well known fail bomber in our ranks. Despite this knowledge the FC had him in a recent fleet and so it was no surprise to see he'd failed again.

Yes there are faction webs with more then 10 KM range. Overheat and links can both expand the range.

http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/item.php?type_id=17559 14km Range. Get a Loki with V Propulsion Subsystem Skill and it easily gets to 40km range with overheat, 60km with OGB.

http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/item.php?type_id=14264 has even 15km, but is also quite expensive, but you should be able to break 60km range with it.

So yeah, you can definitely be outside of a bombs explosion radius while webbing it, especially when using ships with bonuses to webs.
