A major event that would affect all of eve universe

If you want an event that
a) shakes up EVE players, and
b) forces all the carebears out of high-sec, then...

Imagine the Empires having finally grown tired (scared) of the capricious, amoral, immortal powers that live among them and decide to shut off our access to all Empire cloning facilities...

Seriously, our dependence on unencumbered cloning facilities is our greatest weakness[1].

[1] He who controls the cloning facilities, controls the galaxy.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Proposed Lore Extinction Level Event : Jove Invades empire space

Step 1: The Jove Navy make Jita 4-4 their "Beach head" as a result system security status is reduced to .1
Step 2: Approx within 24 hrs after Command and Control systems are setup,All of Concord is laid to waste.....
Step 3. The Amarr Navy make a valiant attempt to counter the Jove at the Amarr Homeworld, but are quickly put down to the sword, as result the empress is made a slave and the rest of the ammarian society are forced to leave their homes as refugees to Minmatar Space.

Step 4. The Jove are now your overlords within all of the 4 empires.......

This would be pretty epic, though i would want it to go a step further. A mass exodus event where we are forced to leave new eden and are able to do so with the new stargate technology we discover. We have to start fresh in a new star cluster and build all of the stations and stargates that interlink them.

Just change a few bits of code with out announcing them. Players log after patch to find that their jumpdrive on their supercapital no longer exists.

Watch as the Jove activate their secret protocols installed in all pods and have all capsuleers
become their unwilling puppets for the duration of the event

Sit back, relax and watch the show without being able to control your pod Big smile

I will go with : Destructible HighSec npc stations. With Empires and/or Concord defending them.

Move your stuff out of Jita now!

Except all four would have to agree to put down their super weapon that they've had aimed at each other for more then a decade.

Yes, new sov system resets all of sov. That would be gorgeous.

Project RESET

Every single system in Null gets reset in regards to ownership for X hours/days/weeks once per year. This would be an event that helps keep EVE interesting and allows anyone the chance to claim certain systems in New Eden. It would also make Nullsec even more dangerous and be very likely cause some interesting battles. Chaos would ensue as a result, and chaos is good for business!

Upon resetting all station services would be closed down until recaptured, even boosts in a system would be shut down as well, and all payments by alliances or corporations would be suspended as well obviously. Every capsuleer would be sent to the nearest Highsec station if they had not set a location prior to the events start. No one would be able to access any ships in their Null systems until those systems are recaptured (Every ship in a PoS will become disabled during the event). You can only use ships that are permitted to be flown in High security space in order to recapture a system in Null. This means only subcapitals will be permitted during Project RESET.

Think of this as an EVE version of The Purge. :)

Mothra. Or a giant tentacled space monster. It's favorite food is Jita local spammers and scammers. It has the ability to reach into stations and pull them right out.

Don't start giving Harry Forever ideas now.

I miss Joepopo. He was fun to mess with.

What does CONCORD have to do with this...?
