I have been playing around with T2 blueprint research but every time I make a T2 blueprint it only has like 1 or 2 runs what am I doing wrong. I know I cannot make one with unlimited runs but 10 or so would be nice.

Do I need a higher skill or maybe a better component?

thank you for any advice you may have

By default a T2 BPC has 1 run (for ships and rigs) or 10 runs (for ammo, modules and drones). Skills don't change that. If you want more runs, use a decryptor when you run the invention process.

Look into the following items:

'Symmetry Decryptor' - often good for cheap modules, frigate and destroyer sized hulls
'Accelerant Decryptor' - often good for the same things, especially modules that are expensive (e.g. Neutron Blaster Cannon II).
'Parity Decryptor' - Too expensive to burn on modules, but check them out for destroyers, cruisers and battlecruisers.

There are other decryptors too.
