Where's CCP Seagull?

So since taking over the main job as senior producer and her initial interviews we heard hardly anything since from her and CCP Fozzie seems to be running the show Albeit badly. what happend?

She doesn't design every mechanic in the game. She provides overall leadership and direction.

In many respects it's good that she lets the individuals responsible for design, take the lead in announcing and discussing their plans. She can't possibly know the specific details of everything going on with the graphics, audio, mechanics, backend, etc.

It's great that the designers and devs themselves are allowed to be, and are, engaged so much with the community.

She'll be pretty visible at Fanfest though if previous years are anything to go by.

I remember every other senior producer being a whole lot more visible...i'm not complaining about the others by the way. But to have heard pretty much nothing after the incoming speech is surprising and disappointing

She's doing what I'd be doing in her place.

Focusing on her job instead of getting caught up in the whine-fest that is the EVE-O forum. What good ever comes from trying to pander to the massively entitled vocal minority that haunts this place? Nothing, I tell you. Nothing at all.

It's not her job to constantly waste her time with you people. It's the job of the CMs.

I not agree with your comments. I think opposite. Sorry I agree with OP. Right she should not waste time a whinefests op not saying that. I think as senior producer we should hear more fromon what the plans are for eve.

Ineed to relax sir. It was perfectly reasonable question. The fact is CCP seagull has seemed to have just disappeared after the fan fair and promising to be more involved. that's not been the case. Nothing to do with pandering to people so no idea how that popped into your head. I see CCP Fozzie being the face of eve for many of the latest expansions and future changes and where eve is going I would of expected to see CCP Seagull doing this. I am making a fair point and observation. No malice intended either so a straightforward question

CCP Seagull has built up a lot of goodwill with the player base over the last year ... perhaps now would be a good time for her to spend a bit of it by reassuring the playerbase.

Lead from the front, and all that.

one must ask these questions.


for a ego-light leadership, she sure is allowing ego-centric minds to really let loose on the game design..

If you look at the devblogs going back several pages, you'll see Fozzie is far from the person directing things. There are a range of devs working on specific projects and the only person that covers them all in her blogs is Seagull.
