Never paid attention that the forum rules were so restrictive...

Did not came here for a long time, but seems a lots of posts are locked all the time...

Quote:
5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive, and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

People taking time to read EVE forums enjoys the game, so any post could contain emotional part or could incite to an emotional response...

23. Post constructively.

Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve EVE Online provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner.
All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding EVE Online and how it can be improved.
Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be.
Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

If people are encouraged to honestly express their feelings, why could we stop they because they could incite to an emotional response ????

BTW : This is not a troll, only an honest expression of one of your clients feeling regarding Eve Online forums.

By the way, having only one topic to reply to dev blog on many subject is not efficient.

And I think, but it's just my personnel feeling, that locking all topics of your CLIENTS that were trying to honestly express their feelings is the worst thing to do.

There's a rule specifically about this form of criticism.

Every venue related to this game where you're allowed to voice your opinion is owned wholly by CCP and they reserve the right to moderate it as they choose. They're not particularly abusive about it, now, or in the past; most of the threads that get locked have stickies already.

CCP is a company. Everything you type on their website must look positive to any potential subscribers. P

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Constructive Criticism. 'This idea has flaws because of x, y might be an in-between state that works'
Raging. 'This idea sucks, CCP sucks, Carebears suck.'
Trolling. 'Lets delete Highsec because carebears'.

Which of these three is allowed, and why.... Go figure which actually provides value.

Stop, Not at all !

We pay their wages, do not reverse the roles.

But I agree that this previous fact will not excuse some conducts of few people...
