So I like many of you all kind of don’t like some aspects of the Alliance prime time window. I have a set of proposals.

Proposal 1: Remove the invulnerability of all structure so anyone can reinforce your structure, but make it so the reinforce timer comes up in the defender’s prime time atleast 48 hours later.

This is kind of what we have currently. I think if you own Sov you should be at risk of having it shot always. If you have a PoS it is always vulnerable to attack. I think Sov structures should be the same, but I really do like that the deciding fight will occur in your time zone.

Problem with Proposal 1: With the way the entosis module has been described, I can very easily see a roaming gang reinforcing structures for fun ***** and giggles forcing the defenders to prepare a fleet to win their command nodes for no reason or any opposition.

Proposal 2: Give Sov structures some sentry guns to defend themselves.

This would require a small fleet to first reinforce the sentry guns, and then work on reinforcing the structure. Maybe something like 1-4 sentry guns that have the equal punch of lowsec gate sentries. It is a small structure grind for sure, but not one that will require capitals. Just a handful of guys and some logi to repair the damage done. These guns should also hit out to 250km to prevent one ship from reinforcing your structures. Also the sentry guns should prioritize any ship using an entosis module.

Roaming gang only has a four hour window in which they can reinforce your stuff and they can only do it if they are alone on grid with your structures.

Just make sure your alliance has a few people around during that four hour window and the only real threat to your sov will be those who really want you out.

(As is my understanding of this new system anyway.)

no clue what you want here, your always free to shoot at a pos in sov space but a small gang isn't going to do any structure bashing as it takes forever. I don't even want to think doing a tcu or outpost with a handful of people.
fyi if your idea is to lower hp, its already been done and still not doable by a small fleet.

These suggestions are for the upcoming sov update...

I am arguing that the 4 hour timer to put a structure into reinforce should be removed. But it should actually require a small fleet instead of a lone duder.

The problem now is that the time it takes to reinforce a structure is pretty small. I live in Providence, and we may be out roaming in catch and not able to respond in time to go chase off one interceptor putting a structure into reinforce. It is just going to be a pain in the ass.

Propsal 1 is not the best i would rather tighten the window from 4 to 3 hours.

The Proposal 2 would be easier if the Tec 2 variant would not increase the Range by 1250 % !!!!! Thats a bit too much don´t you think CCP ? And yes to defending guns so not every ceptorgang can start capturing your systems.

Its okay that smaller alliances should be able to get space but it´s not that funny if you have every day 10 ops and have to defend everytime 10 nodes just because some guys in ceptors reinforced them.
