I have not had the launcher tool work for in the last year and a half. Every time I open the launcher, it just locks up. In order for me to get the game patched, I just run repair.exe. To launch the client I just use the eve.exe and open the client., once for each alt.

Not looking for a fix, just wanted to post in case others were having issues with the launcher app.
