New drones pfft... for 6 years I been trying to get them just to have mining drones mine with the F key, same way you have combat drones, salvage drones, and logistics drones do their thing. I'm surprised they even remembered to add mining drone icons I wouldn't be surprised if they were confused and thought there was a medium drone.

If I'm not mistaken, Harvester drones are considered Medium drones.

I think you may be right.. just looking at them ingame and they are 10m3 a piece so.. maybe

What we should get is the Rorqual in high sec. Have it put out a flight of 16 autonomous Skiffs to do the mining when I press the "Get ISK" button.

Because mining on Skiffs is soooooo profitable. Almost 20 million ISK per hour with top rocks, top boosts and no second wasted.
Good luck not getting ganked when you try to "Get ISK" selling you ore btw.

Being teh freightergankbear automatically puts you below missionbear and minerbear in carebear hierarchy.

If you're about to make "this will make eve un-eve" argument, odds are you are defending some utterly horrible mechanics against a good change.

Scout drones aren't needed when hoovering a belt in hisec (the rats are too dinky), so if you're one of those yield enthusiasts with Mining Drones V then it's not a bad idea to use them.

Harvester Mining Drones run about 500mil for a flight. So they aren't for the budget minded.

Personally, I used to use them from my Orca when I was a miner.. with perfect mining drone skills and dropping the Orca right above the roids and it can move a fair bit.. Sure nothing earth shattering, but was nice when I had the ship there anyway.

Not something I'd suggest anyone to do.. If you'd cry after losing them, they aren't for you :)

Decent drone combo for HS is 1 combat, 4 mining. 1 keeps up with the rats OK. And if you go AFK, you'll get on your ganker's KM.
