If anything, Plex prices will only go DOWN if CCP keeps dumping free aurum into the economy. This recent Aurum Token gave the "Aurum" currency a bit of its edge back, but its currently deflated value means that Plex prices are at a high point, teetering on the edge of collapse to a downward crash.

I think it's funny that you think that plex prices are due to aurum.

It's related in a backwards kind of way. Items on the market which come from Plex are sold for how much % of the Plex they are worth. Therefore Aurum is responsible for setting into place the upward trend of Plex to an extent. When we get another 1000 free Aurum from CCP, it will cause the aurum value to crash and the Plex prices to rise.

It's inflation.

PLEX goes up because it is being pumped. Someone is pumping it so hard im affraid he is going to destroy his lungs.

Its not rocket science to notice those nice XX at a time buy order series designed to make a barrier for dropping price while spreading individual sell orders up to 600mil.

37 out of 1000 daily traded PLEXes is nothing.

PLEXes are rising cause some peeeps are pumping prices up in Jita.
Just have a look at buy order side: a lot of large buy orders are pushing and more peeps are jumping on the bandwagon again until the next big crash happens. The trend is not that distinct and prices are struggling wiith its trend thus investments isn't worthwhile imo.

In theory, Plex and Aurum prices would be pegged.

In practice, CCP has give every account 5500 Aurum, so any NeX item below that is worth some fraction of 0 isk, and every item above that is worth the number of plexes it took to get from 5500 to that item.

(Aurum crashing would, if anything, decrease Plex prices)

Finally, Plex are not converted to Aurum in enough quantity for the NeX store to affect Plex prices.

Plex prices are high because of incursions flooding everyone with ISK, no other reason.

I think people need to sell plex for higher price, 460M is a bit low ummm, need more raising......we know alot of people out there have more isk then they can spend.

If you think they're undervalued, buy. If you are trying to sell them, list them at a higher price and wait for them to sell. Roll

Are there any wrecks where large stacks of PLEX survived? Or is there some code somewhere that says "If item is PLEX and QTY>5 then 100% chance destroyed?"

A week ago I was responsible for 7% of a day's volume exchange. Buying/selling. Cool
