Hello, I have a blast scanning and going into wh space. I have been practicing in high sec. My favorite thing to do is take on sleepers, but I am kinda lost.

I have lost two Vexors to Sleepers. I fitted out a pretty "ok" armor tank setup with stable cap and even resists. I know about them targeting drones and did my best with ECM jammer to get aggro and such. My Vex(s) was mostly high meta T1 sorry to say..

tldr: looking for recommendations on a ship to take out sleepers with low sp. I just find it fun and i don't care if it takes a long time to start out making isk. Thanks for any help

Keep training. As a fellow Gallente pilot, your minimum ship that can handle sleepers is gonna be a dual rep myrmidon. Even then you are going to find soloing C1 sites highly annoying.

I'd make sure i'm in a C1 to start with and be very cautious of gankers who could be WH dwellers or passersby.

If you have hybrid skills, a ferox takes little time to train for and should be able to survive a C1 with a passive tank. Not sure how well the rails will do with hitting frigs though.

Dual rep Myrmidon will cope easily, probably won't even need to be well fit.... Pre neut changes I used to just about cope in a C3 with a dual rep Harbinger so a dual rep myrmidon in a lower class wormhole won't even break a sweat.

Just be careful to not pop the wrong triggers and it should be fine.

Drone boats in sleeper sites are extremely frustrating. The sleepers happily switch between drones and you at will. Getting initial aggro means nothing.

If anyone ever looks at you and says,_ "Hold my beer, watch this,"_  you're probably going to want to pay attention.

If you've got ECM you can persuade them to shoot yourself a lot more than your drones. You can also go the opposite direction and jam the sleepers.
I've run sites in a C4 where we didn't even have to worry about incoming damage due to 2x Scorps perma jamming everything :p
