imho the other T3' should have been buffed to be in line with the tengu more than anything. or at least have some of the other subsystems looked at.

Removing sentries (and possibly heavy drones) from anything smaller than Battlecruisers is probably going to be controversial regardless. I say nerf the Ishtar into a hybrid boat - problem solved.

Then it'd just be another Deimos. Also, such an idea would leave zero drone platform HACs, which would'nt be cool, nor make sense for Gallente to be absent a Drone HAC.

The Caldari don't have a missile Attack Battlecruiser, either. Nor does any race have a drone-based Marauder, so the best way to nerf the Ishtar is convert it to a hybrid platform and let the tears flow.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

So it's not a wish, more like "This bridge will collapse when I cross it".

The Naga was originally a missile platform but they couldn't stop it from being an overpowered monster.

Don't stress at some point you will have most pew pew ships trained for, so no matter what they nerf you can always swap to the next best OP ship with out having to train for it and triggering another nerfbat.

Call me mad but I think removing sentry drones from Ishtars and treating it much in the same way as they have the Gila (or Guristas ships in general) might be just the thing the Ishtar needs. It does eliminate a traditional long range HAC though, leaving Gallente with none of those, so maybe that is not the idea at all. Maybe it needs a reduction in drone bandwidth, to make it more like the Myrmidon but then you end up with ships being clones of each other.

Whatever they end up doing, I hope they don't forget to scale the nerf to other drone ships, or perhaps they'll even go as far as to reworking the damn things entirely.

What happened the Guristas ships really was not a bad thing and I do realise that it is a theme in that case but still... there it is.

I was training another char into them at the same time. I guess you could say I did it on purpose to try and trigger exactly this kind of thing =p

Everyone train for Ishtars now.

Or make new characters and train those for Ishtars cause I swear, there is not a character left that can't fly them yet.

Tengu nerf = Legion Buff


Of course, all T3s probably need a buff, given the advances in T1 and 2 Cruiser teh since they were created, but meh.
