If the launcher didn't work for a week, that would be different. This is EVE, you skill up even when you're not logged in, no need to milk it for the inconvenience factor of a busy schedule.

I bet in the beginning they got a lot of "but your downtime is the only time of day I can log in to check my orders!" Roll

Over a week and I still can't connect to EvE from Florida.
Pinging 12.122.8.16 = destination net unreachable.

Since yesterday's extended maintenance, I could not log in, or could log in, but the game lags painfully with constant socket error every 15-30 minutes. Just posting to see if anyone else having the same issue lately...

You guys have apparently sold a lot of Steam based clients recently. They don't have the .exe workaround that is needed so often to get around launcher issues. Are you addressing this or should we (the community) keep telling people to NEVER buy from Steam?

As a software developer I understand these things happen, but as a player I would rather you delay releases until they have been thoroughly QA'd.

BTW, i always wondered why you guys do not keep us updated on twitter, this is the kind of stuff it is made for and why I follow...if your not going to post there then i should just unfollow like a mad school girl!!!

I cleard the cache now the launcher is updateing 0.1% every 2 mins. Shocked

after clearing cache if launcher doesnt work how long should it take before i sorts itself back out. 3 hours 30 mins of DT for most of us who cant get on.

I tried to log in and saw that it didn't work and then I checked the time and the updates and for a moment I thought it was 2007.
I'm feeling nostalgic now. Can we turn the server off for 24 hours next? :D
