was when I logged in 1 hour after it had expired.

I guess because we are talking about the account page here, UTC didn't seem
relevant. Maybe if this was something we were claiming in game you
might have a point.

My understanding was that it DID have to be claimed in game on or after the 22nd, thus making server time relevant.
Even that aside, the one time we're all staring at when in game is server time and I would imagine most would consider that to be the "official standard" and should be used unless told otherwise.

Edit: But I'll grant you that clear specific info beats conjecture based on accepted norms any day.

Account Activity and Transaction History appear to be in UTC as well ...

Do you REALLY expect CCP (or anyone else running a promotion like this) to work out on the fly YOUR timezone to see if YOU are eligible vs someone is another timezone. Following that logic, someone in Australia such as myself should be able to redeem something 18 hours before people on the US West Coast...
Things like this are ALWAYS server time, which in this case is UTC...

Everything else I do online is done in my time zone. I dont see why my CCP billing page should be any different. They know from when and where I am paying.

btw, it's STILL the 21st :)

Hmm well I did the choose the item a bit before the deadline but I am told it will not appear as an available item to claim until the 22nd? So I made one deadline, but the way the directive reads will need to wait then fail the second one... *sigh*
