Launcher - Offline mode

"You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content."

What exactly does this mean, and how do I fix it? Note: Computer illiterate.
I've ran the repair tool, which didn't seem to do much, and even reinstalled the game.

There was an issue around the time this post was made which would have resulted in the launcher appearing as offline. This issue was resolved soon after it was discovered and as such you should now be able to log in.

If you continue to see the launcher as offline then try restarting the launcher. If that does not resolve the problem then add launcher.exe to your security applications allowed / exceptions lists.

This the problem persists then please submit a ticket in the Technical queue and we can provide further assistance.

I just started getting this error on my laptop, I tried the older solutions that once worked. But no, did not work. What I haven't done yet is to re-install the whole client.
