Launcher issue.

Hi, I'm having some problems with my launcher, it takes anything up to 10 minutes for the game to actually start from the launcher. the launcher loads fine but the yellow load bar doesn't load when I enter my password and hit play. Is there something I can do here on my side to fix this or is everyone else having this problem too? It's really starting to annoy me, thanks in advance.

I've been having the same issue for the past week or so
On a related note (as far as I can tell) the launcher background starts grey and gradually turns to black (can take five minutes or more). If you enter your password and log in before it has fully turned black the launcher freezes and you never get to the yellow bar stage.

My launcher is stuck at "initializing.... 1/3" and freezes up, which I have to force to exit. After several attempts, I tried the repair tool, which is also stuck downloading the initial file at step 1/7. I had to force it to exit as well. I had no issues downloading updates yesterday or the Tiamat patch the day before.

You, too, can be a Solid Gold dancer.

I have got exactly the same problem

The Tiamat patch downloaded fine, but the launcher does not appear to authenticate

This is stopping me play any of my nine Eve accountsSad

Edit: downloaded and launched this: http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_826897.exe

Shortly after launching that old launcher, it updated itself to the new one, which now works normally
