A unique opportunity for the Gallente Federation to gain a diplomatic understanding with these 'Drifters'. We can show them the enlightenment of Federation space in order to gain some new allies. Maybe even a chance to begin a severing of links to CONCORD!

Well yes. They are humanoid, even capsuleer from all appearances so we can probably assume they conduct warfare in similar ways humans as we know it do.

I am curious though how these stations of theirs, if that's what they really are, were able to be setup under our noses. These things are huge. Have the structures always been here? Has there been some other force at work keeping the construction efforts invisible until now? Or were they transported here by means we don't understand?

certainly not the same but consider please, that the Sleepers we have dealt with are just an army of drones. An ancient army of drones, with specific guard duties.

What we see here could be the Sleepers themselves, out of their virtual "slumber" and into newly crafted bodies.
We would be naive to think they where actually "sleeping" inside a VR world. They most likely have evolved their technology with results apparent to anyone trying to mess with them.

After all, it all adds up. If the Sleepers somehow managed to kidnap dr. Tukos, then it all falls into place. The weird machine language messages, asking for Jovian dna with the ultimate goal of manufacturing their corporeal form, a Drifter.

Ofcourse, not only this theory does not answer all questions but also introduces a few new ones.

Why the Jovian relation?
Perhaps the Sleepers and the current Jovians shared a common ancestor which is why they chose this form, or perhaps the Jovian standards suited them better than anything else, after all a Jovian can be considered the most biologically advanced human form.

To what end?
No theory on that. Their goals remain to be seen. Its safe to assume they reacted to something, something stirred them enough to go through all this. Its apparent they are not here to make friends or see the sights. If I had to take a wild guess, it would involve Nation dabbling into the Sleepers world in a way annoying enough for them to rise.

That would make a lot of sense actually. I've yet to see a better explanation for the Jovian body parts yet, at least. Definitely something to look into further.

It also hasn't been answered yet why the silence for 3 years between Hilen Tukos' disappearance and when his Imposter used his name to gain the Jovian parts.
