Didn't watch or do the tutorial? Tells u that death is part of the eve lifestyle. It is why there's clones. I've started 6 days ago and doing the tutorial has been a great help and learned a lot about eve. It's dangerous space out there, pirates, hostiles, or just jumped into a Corp territory and they don't know if your friend or foe so boom, your dead. Fly safe
