Can I get some Nighthawk help?

I am a retuning vet. I last played back in 2012. I am currently running anoms out in Gurista's space and I am looking for a good PVE fit for that for a Nighthawk. I am currently using an active tank fit for it. I am willing to consider a passive pit if that will give me a stronger tank though.

Basically I have no idea what's going on. Help me fellow capsuleers, you are my only hope.

It's pve. . I mean you slap on the correct resistance modules, then try not to claw out your eyes while you shoot red crosses. For everything else there is a quick google search for the anoms/ generic pve fittings.

Nighthawk isn't built for active tanking. (Shield reps) It will cap out too fast. Same for the Drake.
If you want a great active tank, get a Tengu.

Missiles in the highs, couple of appropriate shield resist modules in the mids along with a booster, ballistic controls in the lows, add extra modules to taste.

The fit is set up with resist mods for omni tank sobut you may want to tinker to optimize. Guristas are simple to tank in a nighthawn though so, meh. As for the rigs, you also may opt to switch out 1 range rig for a rigor or some such, but I have found this setup best for my play style and have never needed purgers as long as you manage triggers properly.

The link is there to get some use out of the bonus but it is not a deal breaker. Adds a touch more umph to the tank if you have leaderships skills trained



CN Scourge- 496 DPS w/o drones to 88k. 595 DPS in drone range with Hobs.
Fury Scourge 582 DPS w/o drones to 66k. 681 DPS in drone range with Hobs.

passive tanking is a waste of slots imo. although with a NH vs guristas there isn't much of a difference. deadspace small/medium shield boosters are rather cheap, and that will free up a few more slots.

HML nerf hit the NH pretty hard. I'd probably go for a tengu instead.

The Nighthawk is custom build for Guristas, no modules required.

And to op's question, the answer is yes. Fit an afterburner and 2x extender on, pve Nighthawk for Guristas complete.
