why is there not a shortcut for add waypoint in starmap as this would be so useful for explorers who set a route including all systems in a constalation and onwards i log my main in daily to spend 10 mins adding waypoint after waypoint after waypoint on a route that i usually do regularly so also coule it be possible to save a route of waypoints once set so to conclude

1. pls add shortcuts for set dest and add waypoint when in star map

2. pls add ability to save a route once plotted so it can be loaded again later

what does everyone think of the ideas and thank you ccp if it ever happens :)

1: Already possible, although the rightclick is a bit unresponsive in the star map. Might have to right click 2-3 times. The new map should hopefully fix this
2: Kinda exists? You can save location of solar system, put it in a folder and give each system a waypoint number

thx for your reply re point 1 the right click set waypoint is not a shortcut by shortcut i mean a hot key ie mouse over system hit 1 button on keyboard move on as for point 2 please explain as my understanding is i would still need to add waypoint to each system in turn not as i would like have a saved route of multiple waypoints that i could just click once to set that route again but if this is possible somehow already pls pls explain :) as i have looked on forum and eve uni docs etc and cant find anything relevant thx again

Things are currently VERY easy for explorers.

I run the same route every day with no issues.

Why not make it so "explorers" just log in and there are prizes!

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

this has nothing to do with log in get loot it has to do with the click fest of plotting a specific route that is not direct which is a situation even a pvp fc could benefit from

1: Right click menu works, use it.
2: Entirely possible. Open in game notepad, create new note, link waypoints for route in notepad, each on its own line. You can then use the right-click menu on each link to set your routes. All it takes is a little tiny bit of effort on your part to set each route up. They even get saved on the server so you don't lose them if you have to re-install the client.

This exists, it's called right clicking.

Not a bad idea, but I mean you could just use bookmarks and set desto to desired system from that every time.

Agreed. Although it would be nice to have routes saved somewhere more convenient, maybe a routes folder in the autopilot., click on the saved route and the whole thing gets loaded into the autopilot

Because the10 seconds it takes to right-click and set waypoints for a 60+ jump route (I have one that does exactly this) is too long? I get an advantage in my exploration over you because I have my routes prepared and ready to rock. I got this advantage because I sat down and thought, "hey, I run the same route over and over. How can I make setting these routes easier on myself?" This is how the game works.
