if i have someone at war with me and they leave corp while sat in an asteroid belt as i land on them is that a exploit? it sounds like the old one where people would join and then leave straight away. is that not a bannable offence?

Create a petition with that question, please. You need a CCP response; us players telling you "yes" or "no" won't mean anything.

i have already petitioned it but was hoping someone else who remembered would say yes, as its been a while since high sec ganking days

Best course of action is indeed filing a support ticket. As you have already done so, this thread gets a lock.
