Table formatting for forum posts

I'm working on a post about rigs and their drawbacks, and finding that it would be most efficient to present the information in a table. Unfortunately, table formatting isn't available. Tables would be excellent for presenting information in EVE. Is it possible we could have some BBCode (perhaps) for creating data tables in posts?

I have it on good authority that tables will not be implemented in the forums BBcode any time soon.
The best thing you probably could do is use '|' as separators, as you do in your signature.

Well that's unfortunate. Thank you for looking into this. I think the best solution is an image link, to a screenshot of an Excel spreadsheet, though that doesn't allow copy pasting of data. Perhaps a Google doc is good for that too.
