Why do all my ships look like garbage.

Ships on my computer look great. Nowhere close to how yours look. Maybe its not the ships that look like garbage, but the hardware rendering them?

I have them all set to low because even with my GTX 560 TI your stargate wormhole effects are jerky.

This game engine isn't exactly optimized for animations.

Even when I do set it to high, it still looks 'HORRID'. Someone polished the copper and dumped a can of red paint on it. Nice blotches.

They looked much better before you started messing with them.

Yea, cause WOW runs 90 fps on all high.

Ships looked fine before they changed whatever they changed.

Actually I like the way they look with low shader quality better.

They messed it up, they need to fix it.

And? I have EVE fixed to 60fps on max settings and never drops below it. Even in asteroid belts, dust clouds or hundreds of people on grid. I used to run EVE on max settings at 120fps. Only During fleet fights with THOUSANDS of people on grid, it started to drop around 30-40fps. WOW is not that resource intensive. Get better hardware.

CCP recently added PBR and have stated they are going to go over a few models that arent where they want them.

I am running a GTX460... I can run one client with medium settings quite comfortably with little to no lag.

Have you de-dusted your computer recently? Updated the drivers? Activated Resource Caching? I find that these things solve quite a few problems.

edit: also... CCP is aware that some of the ship textures do not look good with the new effects and are slowly working on them.

Its your hardware, I have mine set to max and it doesn't drop frame rates even in the largest fights. Comparing WoWs graphics to EVE is like comparing a heavily modified Skyrim to its console counterpart. There is no contest but the beauty comes at a price and that price is low end machines will never be able to run the game well if at all.

Ive got a GTX660 I5 Processor. No where near state of the art, but works perfectly fine for EVE. I dont have any lag issues with WH or jump gates that you claim to have. So if you have an issue and i dont, the issue is localized to YOUR machine/connection.

And if youre just whining cause the ships dont "look" how you like, then thats your problem. CCP is going to update a few models in the future that need tweaking, but not all look "horrid". Thats just your opinion.

Low / Medium / High Shader Quality, ships look like crap.

Scythe Fleet Issue is the only one I found that looks normal, cept it's green.

"Trying" to feed me that crap about it's a performance issue with my computer, you're either stupid or you "think" I am.

It is CCP's game, they can do what they want with it, you're right. I'll just let my account expire again. I don't need to look at this horrid crap.

minmatar are the strongest ships around, no other ship could gain as much rust and still be able to fly Cool
