THIS was posted on Facebook today, it shows major planets in EVE shown to scale.

Don't know about you but maybe CCP should think about tweaking some stats...

All I get is an error processing my request.

I didn't even request anything as such, except in the technical sense.

It's entirely on the realm of possibility that those planets would be super earths

The gravity on Luminaire would be rough...

amarr have even the superior planets, no real surprise.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Some planets have more density than others,
but they're all usually inhabited planets for this effect to be seen.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Having flown a frig directly into many eve planets, I can tell you non of them are to "scale"

In eve or otherwise...

found it on twitter: https://twitter.com/EveOnline/status/564795830813868032/

and looking at those planets, no wonder capsuleers are "super human" in the lore

This seems like a good place to ask. Now that they have been updating graphics in general is there any chance that planets will be getting a graphic update soon?

They are starting to look sort of dated. Gas giants in particular are pretty dreary looking.

Indeed.. During the Luminaire live event there was mention that it was not very dense, and that's what made the potential firing of a DD at it, and the Crash of the Titan, much more dangerous than on many other planets.

Who knows if that made it into ingame stats though..

I do not understand why CCP need to alter any stats based on that picture.

We have harvesting colonies on Lava and Gas planets.

The home world habitation lore does not account for technology. Just because it is the original colony, it's still an artificial living space. The fact that no or an extreme few planets that are truly earth like explains why there are no native populations in New Eden.

Which are 100% totally uninhabitable. And they don't get that big.
